Opening Statement

Located a quick 10 minutes from Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport and at the intersection of IH 45 and Beltway 8, the Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority is transforming the Greenspoint area. Boasting more than half a dozen parks, including the largest skate park in North America, and 24 public art pieces, there is no doubt that the quality of life for those that live and work in the area is flourishing.

This major economic center is drawing new businesses to the area by adding amenities that encourage growth while developing an inviting environment.

Mission Statement

The mission of The Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority (TIRZ Number Eleven) is to improve the quality of life by providing public amenities to area residents, employees and visitors. In addition to improving the infrastructure and mobility in the area, we seek to improve quality of life by bringing eye-catching public art to each project.

Challenges

 The Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority (TIRZ Number Eleven) is making aggressive efforts to tackle the apartment density challenge and create a safe, inviting place for residents, commuters and visitors alike.
